Praise God for such inspiration that He gave to you (Sonnie Badu). “Every good and perfect gift comes from above…” James 1:17. Thank you very much for this great work. I am really blessed by this Medley. May God strengthen you more and more and shower you with more inspirational &Transformational songs. Keep it up. Remain Blessed! To God be all the Glory.

Hi, the first one is not Shona. That is Luganda from Uganda. (East Africa. Bantu – that’s why it’s similar to Swahili) In Shona, the song is “Angekho ofana na Jesu”: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WXP57hZI5Jk

It is actually Shona. I’m from Zimbabwe. The Swahili version is Akuna mungu. Which means the same thing

Awesome. I was getting ready to do a Black History Moment at our church. I needed a African Song. I love Sonnie Badu, but was skeptical about what the words meant. I didn’t want to do a praise dance without the correct words. This helped my dancers to k of what to do for each movement.

Thanks so much.this help to put african praise in the right position and makes praise acceptable cos we get to sing the right lyrics instead of singing what’s in our head which may be the opposite of the lyrics.bless U

So “tenderera” is look around and “Temberera” is “walk around”. The corrections are done. Thank you Kasi and God bless.
