Bwana mchungaji wangu, sitapungukiwa (The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not Want)
katika malisho ya majani, mabichi hunilaza (He makes me to lie down in green pastures)
Kwa maji matulivu, yeye huniongoza (He leads me beside the still waters.)
Kwa uvuli wa mauti, sitaogopa kamwe (Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall not be afraid)

Umeniandalia, meza mbele yangu (You have prepared a table before me)
Machoni pa watesi wangu, Bwana huniongoza (Before my enemies, Lord )
Huisha nafsi yangu, katika njia za haki (He leads me in the paths of righteousness)

Nimekukimbilia, Baba Mungu wangu (I have run to You, Father my God)
