Bwana mchungaji wangu, sitapungukiwa (The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not Want)
katika malisho ya majani, mabichi hunilaza (He makes me to lie down in green pastures)
Kwa maji matulivu, yeye huniongoza (He leads me beside the still waters.)
Kwa uvuli wa mauti, sitaogopa kamwe (Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall not be afraid)

Umeniandalia, meza mbele yangu (You have prepared a table before me)
Machoni pa watesi wangu, Bwana huniongoza (Before my enemies, Lord )
Huisha nafsi yangu, katika njia za haki (He leads me in the paths of righteousness)
Kwa ajili ya jina lako, wewe upo nami (For His name’s sake, You are with me) (Repeat)

Nimekukimbilia, Baba Mungu wangu (I have run to You, Father my God)
Nisiaibike, mbele za watesi wangu (That I may not be ashamed before my enemies)
Wewe upo nami, gongo na fimbo yako (You are with me, Your rod and Your Staff)
Vyanifariji Baba, Sitaogopa kamwe (Comfort me Father, I shall not be afraid)

Umenipaka mafuta, kichwani mwangu (You anoint my head with oil)
Kikombe kinafurika, machoni pa watesi wangu (My cup runs over, in front of my enemies)
Wema nazo fadhili, zitanifuata (Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me)
Siku zote za maisha yangu, nyumbani mwako milele (All the days of my life; In Your House forever)
