Ndĩkuuĩire mũtĩ wakwa wa kwambĩrwo

Njikarage nawe, mathĩnainĩ mothe
(Keep me safe with You, through life’s storms)
Nĩgetha ũndeithie kũhotana
(So that I emerge victorious)

(Lord I know You never forsake me)
Na nĩngwenda kuona, riri wa Igũrũ
(And I desire to see, Your heavenly glory)
