Ruumĩte mũthithũ wa ngoro thĩinĩ (It comes from the depth of my heart)
Ndirĩ kĩndũ kĩngĩ kĩega, gĩa gũkũrehera (I have nothing better to offer)
Amũkĩra igongona rĩa ngoro yakwa (Receive the sacrifice of my heart)

Ndatũraga ndumainĩ ũkĩnyonekera (You saved me from darkness)
Ũkĩ rehe ũtheri ngoro yakwa thĩinĩ (And brought light into my heart)
Naniĩ rĩũ nĩ ngũkenera ũtheri ũcio waku(Now I rejoice for your Light)
Amũkĩra igongona rĩa ngoro yakwa (Receive the sacrifice of my heart)

Ndakaĩra Baba akĩnyamarũra (But when I called upon the Lord, He heard me)

Ngũria muoyo wa mũndũ, ũngĩkĩgũrũo nakĩ? (I ask how much  is the soul of man’s soul worth?)
Kuona atĩ indo ciothe ciathĩ itingĩigana (Seeing that all earthly wealth is not enough)
Mbeca igũraga o indo, iria nyandĩke thogora (Because money can only things with prices)
Ngũria muoyo ũngiuma mbeca cigana (I wonder how much is the soul of man worth?)

Kĩhe ũthingu wa ngoro, ndi karegwo nĩwe (Grant me a pure heart, that You will not refuse me)
