(Sung in Swahili)

Bwana wangu naomba unisikie nijapo mbele yako nikiimba
(My Lord I pray that you hear my song before You)
Naomba unisikie, naomba unisikie
(I pray that you hear, I pray that you listen)
Wimbo wangu siku ya leo si mwingine
(My song today is none other)
Bali ni wimbo wa shukrani
(Than a song of thanksgiving)
Bwana asante, kwa yote umenitendea
(Lord thank you, for all that you have done for me)
(Repeat)

Refrain:
Leo naamua, kubadili mtazamo wangu, Baba
(Father today I have resolved to change my perspective)
Unajua muda mwingi nijapo mbele zako
(You know a lot of times when I am before You)
Huwa naja nikalalamika
(I only come with complaints)
Lakini leo, naleta shukrani, shukrani!
(But today, I bring Thanksgiving, thanks!)
Oh! wastahii shukrani Baba
(Oh, Father You deserve the thanks)

Muda wowote nikipatwa na jambo baya
(Any time when I encounter trouble)
Siwezi sahau kulalamika
(I do not forget to complain)
Kawaida ya mwanadamu, mwepesi wa kulalamika
(As is usual with humans, easy to complain)
Lakini kwa mazuri muda mwingi
(But in good times a lot of times)
Huwa nachukulia kawaida tu
(I take it as usual)
Leo nakuja kwa sauti ya shukrani
(Today I come with a voice of thanks)

(Refrain)

Inapendeza kuja mbele zako
(It is good to come before you)
Na sauti ya shukrani ewe Bwana wangu
(With a voice of thanks, Oh my Lord)
Inatupasa wanadamu, kukushukuru daima
(We have to as humans, to thank you forever)
Ni vema kuwa na shukrani nyingi kuliko malamiko oh
(Ohm It is good to have more thanksgiving than complaints)
Leo twakuja kwa sauti ya shukrani
(Today we come with a voice of thanks)

(Refrain)

(Sung in Swahili)

Parapanda ya Bwana ii karibu (The Lord’s trumpet is near)
Parapanda karibu kusikika (The trumpet shall be heard soon)
Wazima wote watasikia (All who live shall hear it)
Na waliokufa wote wafufuke (Those who are dead shall rise)
Walomsubiri watavikwa taji zilizong’aa (Those who waited for Him will be crowned)
Bali waovu wataukimbia uso wake (But the evil shall flee His face)

Refrain:
Tutamwona mfalme wetu Yesu, akirudi (We shall see our kings’ return)
Tutafurahi, tupumzike, wote tuloshinda (We’ll rejoice and rest all who’ve conquered)
Nao malaika wote, wapige panda (The angels shall sound the trumpets)
Nyingi za ushindi (With resounding joy)
Na tutaruka mawinguni (And we shall rejoice in the clouds)
Tumlaki mfalme wetu (While meeting our King)

Watakaokuwa ni washindi,  Watafurahia ajabu (The winners shall rejoice)
Na majina yao yataitwa, Naye Yesu mwokozi wao (Their names called by Jesus their savior)
Wataruka kwa furaha angani (They shall jump for joy in the air)
Wakiongozwa naye Yesu (Led by Jesus)
Nyimbo tamu zitasikika angani (Sweet songs shall be heard)
Ndugu yangu usikose pale (My brother, do not miss it)

Utakuwa wapi siku hiyo ndugu? (Where will you be on that day?)
Utakuwa wapi siku hiyo? (Where will you be on that day?)
Mwokozi Yesu atakapoyaita (When our Savior Jesus shall call)
Majina yao aliowakomboa (The names of all He has saved)
Walio ya furaha mavazi katika damu ya Yesu (The ones who wear garments washed with His blood)
Wakavumilia hadi kufika mwisho (Those who persevered to the end)

(Refrain)
